Naturopathic Family Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine is ‘whole person’ healthcare. Your treatment is tailored to you to provide you with a well-rounded approach that focuses on true healing and the prevention of illnesses. Treatment may include clinical nutrition, nutrient supplementation, botanical medicine, IV nutrient therapy, mental health support, homeopathy, and other approaches.

Integrative Cancer Care

Integrative cancer care uses a combination of approaches to optimize a person’s health and support them during their journey with cancer. It is not separate from standard conventional therapy, but used in tandem to help the body heal, encourage remission, prevent recurrence, and support the body’s general health through (and after) treatment.

Testing

As part of your healthcare plan, we may choose to test for a variety of things like food sensitivities, live cell analysis, body composition testing, heavy metals, environmental toxins, salivary hormone testing, or comprehensive digestive and stool analysis. All regular lab work for blood and urine tests is available, and requisitions can be completed at any Life Labs.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an invaluable treatment tool for many conditions on its own or in combination with other treatments. Based on thousands of years of clinical use in Traditional Chinese Medicine, it involves the insertion of extremely thin needles through your skin at strategic points on your body and works by balancing the energy-conducting pathways of the body.

Physical Therapy

For pain and injury relief, we use a method of treatment called The Bowen Technique. This technique consists of a series of precise moves done on specific points in the body. The work is done on soft tissue and stimulates physiological changes and energy flow, empowering the body’s own resources to heal.

Personal Nutrition Support

Food is both medicine and the raw material necessary for body tissues and healthy biochemistry. As part of your treatment plan, your diet may be assessed and suggestions made on how to eat based on your goals and specific health needs. This process will include education on how specific foods impact your body, rooting out any sensitivities, and building the diet best for your body.

Mental Health Support

For mental health support, our clinic uses a therapy called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). EFT is an incredibly helpful tool for resolving strong emotions and feelings that hold us back from being our best selves. The process involves tapping on acupuncture points and helps to rewire the brain to release old, unhelpful belief patterns and replace them with healthier truths.

IV and Injection Therapies

IV and Injection Therapy are safe and effective ways to provide the body with therapeutic doses of vitamins and nutrients. They bypass the digestive system, delivering nutrients directly to the bloodstream and avoiding gastrointestinal issues. This means that larger doses can be delivered comfortably and safely.
